  1. Isn't neglectful domination the standard we live by?

  3. You know, the Chinese word for neglect is* the same as their word for domination.**

    *No, it isn't.

    **Neglomination!

  4. Finally, some new hope for fans of sadomasochism everywhere!

And even better, it's explicitly American! Let's get the ad campaigns crankin - call that Draper guy. Though his company's a bit Anglophile for this one... hmm, I'll sleep on it.

  5. Look, what happened in Haiti is horrible and we need to fix it. Surely, if we bomb the right person everything will be ok. You knee jerk pacifists wouldn't neglect to help the Haitios just because some poor terrorist somewhere might stub his toe?

The only question remains, who do we need to bomb to make this right?

  6. We could always bomb the rubble, like in Afganistan. It's working out over there.

No, no, I know: Iran. Sure, I don't know if they have an earthquake machine. But I also don't know that they don't have one. Let's not let perfect be the enemy of good. Let's not let the smoking gun turn into a mushroom cloud. Bomb today!

  7. It's amazing how much we'll spend, and how many people we'll send over, in the course of assisting with the rebuilding of Afghanistan and Iraq, but the idea of doing the same for a country that's been devastated by nature instead of by us is unfathomable.

I guess we could declare war on them, declare an instant victory, and then help?

  8. Why must we choose? Seems to me that we can do both. More Manifest Destiny Pie!

(as to the word verification, I would like to verify that "rewines" is not a word. Thank you).

  9. Nony, not sure what the actual brekadown, but I'm guessing we're still spending more blowing up than we are building in southwestern asiatica.

  10. What I wouldn't give for thirty minutes of Neglectful Domination. I get edgy just thinking about it.
