This is a good blog. This is the best blog. It is about god and the universe and those horrible screaming monkeys and the time I made a pizza out of an old tire and a can of whip cream. This is the Fafblog.
Oh, Faf. Not to worry. This sort of thing requires inspiration, and sometimes events intervene.
These events can take many forms, and some of them so cruel.
Alas, some of this is an inevitable part of Life On This Planet.
Some other of this is not, however; and if you're getting dished out any of the latter, I can only say that I pray nightly for such evildoers to awake one morning to find that dust mites have devoured all of their hair. And the follicles. And left ransom notes about the finger and toenails.
That is a picture of "Lonesome George", a native of the Pinta Island in the Galapagos.
If this is some sort of code, then maybe "Lonesome George" represents one of the past George's.
Laura's book had just come out. In it she talks about George's drinking habits. Pinta and Pina are closely spelled, so this is also CLEAR evidence that they are pointing to George's drinking of Pina Coladas.
When George drank, he got in a fatal car crash.
What we now know, thanks to interpreting the perfectly clear symbols provided by this picture, is that Fafnir, Giblets, and the Medium Lobster have gone away to crash (i.e. sleep), so they can come back relaxed and inspired with more entertaining content.
Meanwhile, across town, a man in a suit that had seen better days - not necessarily on the same man - stared into the mirror behind the bar, nursing his third martini.
I promised myself I would study Fafsperanto, but I just can't find the time in my busy schedule of difficult procrastination to avoid all other responsibilities and activities of any kind. Could you please change the lingua franca for this site into regular Spanish like I already learned?
Or, and this is just a thought: BE BACK NOW! :-)
ReplyDeleteJust what Martha told me in Cincy way back in 1914.

Also, they are drinking heavily.
